This is probably wishful thinking, but I'd like a vendor that could support advanced hardware hacking projects. For example, a vendor that can fabricate PCBs (and perhaps stencils) on-site, perhaps using one of the LPKF prototyping laser systems. Did the HHV run out of badge kits? No worries -- just print some more! The ideal vendor would also have reels of common hand-solderable SMD parts. Basically something like Metrix Create:Space from Seattle, only at DEFCON. A vendor like this could also support the wireless village and hams. Need to make an RF amp for your next crazy RF hack? Just stop by!

SMT is not that difficult if you have the right tools. If stations have flux, solder wick, tweezers, and a good iron with a decent amount of surface area (like a chisel tip), it should be relatively straight forward.

Hats. We need more hats. And I don't mean trucker / billboard hats or ones with built-in lighting like last year. Nobody really wears those. All cotton baseball-style caps or stretch-fit caps.

Hi- yeah, I kinda admit I agree on the universities looking for heads. But then the NSA was there, too... so hehe... yeah... I get that DC is a good place to headhunt for students, but yeah they looked sad. Anyway.... the lineup for this year looks like fun, so have fun holiday shopping. Btw, the shirts at my booth aren't black short sleeves!

More information on what they're selling! A table full of plastic pineapples means nothing to me without more info, and I don't mean hand me the instruction sheet written in 2 point type. You sell yagi antennas? Great! How about sorting them by power or use? T-shirts? Love them! Can you display them so I can actually see the artwork on them? And please list prices too.
