Consider the sources! Getting lauded by eweek is cool, and getting scolded by nbc? Like I care what nbc thinks!

Not just NBC, but M$NBC. It is actually a Wall Street Journal article that was picked up by M$NBC.

I wonder who payed NBC to run that artical.....cause it seems to be selling security. The use of the word "password" in place of SSID shows a lack of information. The eWeek artical was fair and definatly supported the idea of promoting security and not screaming "evil hacker" at the first sign of trouble. Another problem with the NBC artical is that once WarDriving is introduced into the genral public......everyone is gonna wanna have free access, thus defeating the ideas behind WarDriving.

I think the ray gun is running lindows.....................:D so it will have a neat looking gui.

              the same difference

Actually, the same thing happend with hacking, it started as a way of detecting bugs, and although real hacking stays the same, crackers and lamers have put the word "hacker" down.
              I think, therefore i exist.
