I have posted the stats and results for the second WorldWide WarDrive.
I would like to take this opportunity to thank the organizers of the
individual drives for their effort. Approximately 200 people participated
this time around and we collected statistical information on 24958 Unique
Access Points.
Of those 24598, 6660 were also found in the first WWWD so 19298 were
discovered this time for the first time on a WWWD.
You can view the combined maps for BOTH WWWDs at www.worldwidewardrive.org
Using the navigation bar on the left you can jump to the WWWD2 page or go
directly there www.worldwidewardrive.org/wwwd2/index.html
The stats link is on that page or can be accessed directly at
http://www.worldwidewardrive.org/wwwd2/wwwd2stats.html
I will be posting a few additional items tomorrow but am very tired now
and am going to bed.
Thanks again for everyone's support. Hopefully the word will get out and
folks will begin to secure these access points.
Chris
