L.A., does it suck or iz it uber cool?

i'm moving to L.A. for school on the 3rd. i usually hate LA. last time i drove to LA, a bum threw his shoe at me from a freeway overpass and it hit me on my motorcycle at 85. the freeway's are in crappy condition. the drivers are just as stupid there as everywhere else, except there's more of them. the traffic sucks. it's dirty.

what do you people think of LA?
is it worth living in?

I used to go clubbing in LA, hollywood, club perversion.. but stopped after getting harrassed by the five-0 and gavel more than I found worth the entire experience... I hate LA. I won't go near it if I can help it... fuck you LA.

my friend's bringing me up to perversion this weekend. the big demi-goth club. everyone i know has been there a thoulsand times except me. not a big club person. perversion's on the hollywoodville side isn't it?

atleast i can do the la 2600 meetings....

yeah perversion is pretty slick, you have the techno/80's room on the left, the industrial room in the center (the biggest room), and the gothic room right by the smoking area outside.. it is pretty nice, I went there for a couple of years until these damned incidents grew in frequency... got there when it opened, and left when it closed, it was the highlight of the week... Some of the dj's from there also play at a club or two in longbeach off cherry, and a club in anaheim that is a strip bar during the day... pretty hard to find a decent goth/industrial club... one of my favorites was naga in long beach, but they stopped after a few times of me going...

I was raised in LA back when it was semi-livable. I hate it now. I have to go to Long Beach for work, that's not too bad, but when I have to go to Spring Street or Hollywood, I hate it. It feels like a different planet and is not fun if you do not know exactly what you want and wear it is. I have found no one friendly. It is a cesspool.

i say fuck the east coast. i'm retiring in rosarito beach mexico. sun, cheap taco carts, and a fresh wave of college girls every season.

i adopted a rule from my father; never live where the weather can kill you.

this includes snow, tornado's, hurricanes, and heat. the only option left is SoCal. for weather like this anywhere else in the world you'd have to go to the medditeranian. (fuck spelling)

you REALLY CAN live in mexico for pennies a day.....
when i said retire, i meant as soon as i have 10,000$ saved. that'll last me 20 years.
and i'll still have 4x more $ annually than the average person...
