Uhh... no. He came up with the idea for the project on his own, and sought out the approval of the administrators. He got a perfect score, usually referred to as a 100%, or an A. He didn't get a 4.0 for it... he already had a 4.0, and most likely still has that 4.0 average. 4.0 refers to a grade point average... obtained by consistently achieving grades of 'A' in all classes, each semester, throughout one's academic career.

Whats funny is that schools have so low security and them blame kids for getting through. I mean the school trys to have security by daily changing the passwords (wow sounds secure...NOT). The schools passwords are things like: orange, gold, blue, pass, or even the teachers last name. The funnyist of all is that more than 90% of the people that use computers at my shcool have the same pass which is asdf. Thats right asdf will get you access to almost all files at my school. And to think they try to make kids think and work harder.

I'm amused... just a few threads ago, you were talking about "your entire childhood", and how you're now making "tons of cash", but now you've let the real secret slip... you're still a kid in school (not that we couldn't guess from your diction).

Here's a secret: Lurk and learn.
