Hm... Who's sending out the CDs? I never got wind of any being sent out, and would really like one. I'd also like the video, if possible, but that's sort of a pipe dream.
Also I was thinking about typing up the basic premise of the talk and submitting it to 2600 Magazine. Does this sound like a good idea to anyone?

Good idea, not sure they'll go for it.
Even if they don't go for it, post it here and it will slowly start to circulate.

John from Sound of Knowledge was supposed to be sending them out. I have the video, I just haven't vid capped it to a reasonable size. I'll have to work on that.
And I'll type it up, maybe we'll see it in spring, then again, maybe not.
Originally posted by ck3k I want to start a 2600 meeting in my county but, I am afraid that no one would show up. I want to meet the county's other users, who like me enjoy computer security and wardriving. What would be a good way to start a 2600 meeting in my local town?
Where in northern CA are you. We have people in the forum from Santa Rosa, Chico, Sacramento, Madera and Fresno. Madera and Fresno are rather strange as it seems no one can decide if they are northern or southern CA.
