change of plans

Well fate has changed... I will probably be there early at the d&b to meet up with whomever is with astcell at the time...
READ THE FOLLOWING CAREFULLY...

AFTER D&B which is close to around 8PM we will MOVE to the food court which is across the way... PLEASE DO NOT WAIT at D&B if you come after 8... wait at the food court.

If you wait outside wait keep an eye out for a group of people, if you checked out http://www.irvineunderground.org/ we have pictures of what we look like. If you see at least one of us, it is probably us. Stop by and say hello and have a seat, we usually wait for everyone we know is going to be there, and a few stragglers before proceeding with issues. :) If you have to leave early that is ok, just let us know if you want.

ok here is the summary:

BEFORE EIGHT PM
DAVE AND BUSTER'S - don't be lazy, walk around and you will find people wearing defcon shirts.

AFTER EIGHT PM
FOOD COURT - look inside and out, we will have a few scouts check now and then... look for someone else looking...

January IVU Aftermath

We started off at Dave and Busters, Astcell was already inside and Miss Turtle, Bartender and I met up then proceeded to go inside. Astcell kept his word and opened a tab and fed us drinks one round and I didnt wear my defcon shirt :) Blackwave came shortly after we took our seats.. Lei called letting us know he was outside once we got out there Kelvin and Petrol were accompaning Lei which had a box of krispy kremes which we finally allowed us to take inside (bribery and such...)

From 6 to 7.30 we talked and laughed then proceeded to head out to the food court to sit down and a handful of new people showed up. We talked about internal stuff and watched Lei fit a computer into a krispykreme box (dozen size)..

We had 13 people there this time around when I got counting. Bout ten after nine Maki-Maki called making sure we were still doing our reservations which were set for 9 then proceeded there and continued discussion...

We talked outside of Maki-Maki about security, laws, group stuff and just other bullshit until 12.45am where we all decided we'd go to sleep :) Lei got his case of bawls, kelvin shared off his small toy and we missed a few of the locals this time.. Feb is only a few weeks ahead :) Some of the talk included flyer creation, a email about a movie script, macstumbler, dc 11, past defcons, blackhat, hacker jep. the location of the event, future plans and projects....

At dinner Lei and Lisa ate two dishes of wasabi straight, by the globs bite after bite - Id say Lei ate the most this time around I wonder what the fuck is going on with their stomachs.. What'd I miss (: Pictures will come soon once BW sends them to me so I can put online. This meeting was a good one, a very energetic and talkitive crowd very easy to talk to :)

And both at the beginning and during dinner BW said 'Damn, it's a shame apprentice can't be here tonight.' And then proceeded to talk about his location and who the fuck apprentice was :P
