More signs of greed.. Lexmark will use the DMCA to try and kill off competing companies that sell toner. If won, the case could set future implications on ink/toner competition, allowing printer producers to continue their monopoly of the sales because they have a small amount of electronics in them.
If Lexmark is able to do it, then others will follow as well. I hate it when large companies, or just companies in general use some out of the way reason/law to make sure they make more money for selling the same stuff.
    Where's the dedication?

You know, I think a lot of the justification for hacking stems from this type of corporate greed. The constant maneuvering and manipulation of the markets to get better footing drives me ape-sh*t.

Too bad they can't just make a better product so that we ignore the competition!

Lexmark is totally misusing the DCMA to keep competition away from their revenue. The companies that use it will eventually face the same thing IBM, Xerox, and other companies ran into in the 90's. You cant stop someone from offering competing products.
        Yes I'm back bitch!

        And darker than ever
