  • Handhelds, what's in you pocket?

As I type this on the screen of my ipaq 3765 with a pccard adapter and wavelan card, while idling in irc (natch), i figured a topic on handheld computing was in order.

Included should be some spectacularly good phones and hybrids like the kyocera and danger (which i also own).

So, what do you have and why?

My... um... palm. On my hand. I can't hold it, but you can. ;-)

It has this nifty stylus for taking notes, holding phone numbers, etc... but the storage is rather temporary (only until I wash). And I'm always losing the stylus.

                      Palm IIIc
                      see mee

it was the first color palm. but now it's come down in price alot!
i have had it a while and now i'm looking for something with better resolution.

i will NOT but a new pda untill i can get these options:

                      palm os
                      color
                      cellphone
                      camera
                      SD memory slot
                      built in blue tooth

                      all in one package

just combine the sony palm cam, the color palm phone, and the palm tungston.

ps a good deal on a wireless palm i707 wireless

cool note: check out the blue tooth GPS for the Tungston.....

Don't order from there though. Tigerdirect is a horrible, horrible company.

A Palm IIIc.... Got it several years ago from a buddy because I helped him get some quality talent hired at a company.

Not really very "wireless" friendly, but it does everything else I need it to.

I've ordered through Tiger Direct TONS of times and NEVER once had an issue. Laptops, servers, rackmounts, desktops, memory, video, etc. No problems. I've had at least 20 successful and pleasant experiences from Tiger.... Not sure what happened to ya'll.
