What is your Favorite Linux Backup/Restore Software?

I have asked a few people and it appears that no one backs up their systems. :/

I searched around and found that BRS v1.7 - Backup and Restore Software is one of the best out there. I would like to know if anyone can confirm this, or has a difference of opinion from experience. A non-commercial suggeston would also be nice.

I am not looking to use dd, tar, or commercial programs like ghost, disk image, etc I do not require to backup the partition, but rather files on the OS with tracking, versioning, incremental etc... suggestions are appreciated.

Just cause you have a *nix doesn't mean your computer is invincible. Hard drives fail also.
I just use an external harddrive and copy all my important files.
      Where's the dedication?
