Last year, ISE & EFF held a router hacking challenge, which proved to be successful! This year we would like to magnify the contest into an Internet of Things Village, or Raiding Internet of Things (RIoT) Village
The village will consist of workshops on hacking numerous off-the-shelf devices that include medical appliances, home appliances, routers and storage devices; live, educational talks; and a variety of contests.
In the contest portion of the village, contestants or teams may be scored according to various metrics (TBD), awards or recognition will be given to winners and participants, and hopefully an array of new vulnerabilities will be discovered which will enrich the collective body of security research around IoT.
