I'm going, already got hotel and airfare nailed down. This is my first time and I've been lurking in the forums since i registered trying to find one that I could legitimately post in without getting flamed ;)

nice to see that people are stoked about it. Any advice for us first timers?? Is it worth camping out in line just to get in?

For what it's worth, we're arriving just before 9:00pm (Las Vegas time) and are planning on checking into the hotel and grabbing some sleep. I'm planning on heading down to the line around 6:00am or so. I'm basing that on the video documentary of DefCon so, that's subject to change :). In the video, the line looked pretty sparse until very early morning.

That's a pretty sweet gig you managed to pull. I wanted to get into some of the training they have at blackhat but couldn't take that much time off... I would be interested in hearing how this years talks go
