Prepare for 108F temps on Wednesday and Thursday, plenty of water to drink and pour over your head/shirt, etc.

For what it's worth, the range area is in the shade about 5:30pm or so, and it starts to cool down quickly after that. I was just up there this past weekend, and was paying attention for that.
Also worth noting, the range is at a higher elevation, and is generally about 10-15 degrees cooler than the Vegas valley.
