HP laptop winmagic need to get around

I operate a computer repair and data recovery company. I need a way to get a clients data off of his laptop or a way to run chkdsk or other recover utilities on the volume. He has enabled and used the hp drive encryption from the company winmgaic. He uses his finger or the recovery questions to get in but his system wont boot. He also lost his original key and code. Does anyone here have a way around this?

So he has just his finger to unlock the drive?

I used to use winmagic, I think there was a way to install it on a new system, and then attach the drive you want to recover. The WinMagic tech support guys were great, have you called them?
