maybe on the front, some adaptation of "If you are listening to this, you are the resistance" ... edited as a firearm reference? ...

So I'm just going to throw my two cents out there.... especially with the recent events... I'm not sure I want a quote like this on a shirt. I don't think I want people asking me "Resistance to what?" This is a pretty dark tone to take, and I'd really like to be able to wear this shirt on an airplane without being mistaken for some ISIS supporter... :) I also think it's good to give people a positive viewpoint on firearms, instead of a doom/gloom one.

Ok, so separating out the 3bit figures so it's not a big ole sheet of vinyl isn't going to be that easy to do. We can take an image like Modafinil and just print the body/words, without all the red background around it. Let me get some stuff together and post, and see what you guys think.

while i don't have more suggestions right now for the design of the shirt, i will say that i STRONGLY support the new "TriBlend" material shirts from American Apparel ... http://store.americanapparel.net/en/...-t-shirt_tr401

these are what an outiftter whom i love (Triple Aught Design) uses for a lot of their under-layer gear now and it's marvelous. softer, more breathable, and really great in all weathers compared to straight cotton or straight wool.

while the black isn't "jet black" but more of a very, very dark heather black... it's awesome. strongly recommended. many suppliers and shirt makers should be able to source these

Terminator seems full of material for a shirt. Perhaps a graphic using the terminator's view

yeah, we would only want the principal elements rendered (and even then sometimes in an outline) and never would the sky/ground/etc be filled in

I'd be down with an 8 bit shirt as long as we could do it without a single giant screen print. I can't stand the feeling of wearing a sheet of vinyl :P

What about just don't a simplified version of the idea... Cannon on front of back and a laser deathray on the opposite side... I think this would cause loss of people to question what Defcon event has a cannon logo? Hu? What sorry is that... (instant new friend)

- blunder bust
- black powder
- single shot cartridge gun

For DC21 we did a version of "the evolution of man" with weapons like that, with a drone at the end. not sure if you're thinking the same kind of left-to-right evolution. That shirt and 19's "No liquids, no gels, no aerosols" are my two favorites.

or something of the sort. Run with the Defcon main theme but make it our own in the sense that it's heavily DC shoot oriented.
