Ride share thread - Camp out/Staff

one benefit is that it's so close to the city (just up north, take Decatur out of town basically) that Ubers and cabs will take you there, pick you up, etc. i did that ride twice today. not bad at all.

If anyone's carpooling or could otherwise provide travel from Mandaly, Trop, Luxor, etc. (or any other hotel on the strip) on the 4th let me know. If I can get transport to the shoot location I'll bring some of my toys with me.

Hey, this is my first Defcon and I just saw this page for Defcon Shoot which looks like a great way to kick off the events! I'm arriving at LAS around 2:30pm on Wednesday and am staying at Bally's (also first time in Vegas). I would love to get a ride back and forth with someone on Wednesday, I'd be happy to split the costs for the ride and/or share some ammo and guns (Glock and Kimber- both 9mm).

"I have one seat left in the DC414 rideshare. Cost is $48. Leaving Flamingo Wednesday afternoon, stopping for ammo/PPE, shoot, and coming back Wednesday night (not camping). Planning on stopping at Walmart on the way back so everyone can grab groceries/booze for their rooms. Vehicle is a fullsize SUV (suburban or similar). The fee includes your share of the transportation/gas, gatorade/waters to keep us hydrated, and use of my shooting lane for both sessions. I am open to dropping off at a different hotel. I have been going since DC19 -- if you want to enjoy the shoot without worrying about planning, this is the way to do it. Any skill level is welcome. I have reserved a "Jeep Renegade or similar". If we are able to deal with the "stage II" situation, my plan is to leave Wednesday afternoon (stopping somewhere to get food/ammo/etc), and return Thursday around noon.

If I can get a seat in your car that would be perfect. I need to get some food and ammo too since I'm staying the entire duration of the shoot.
