Info request - live captioning used at DC

Where can I find more info about the live captioning software used at DC? Is it available for use by other nonprofits? I have googled and searched the forums, but nothing helpful has come up.

The "transcription"/CART services used are professional, paid services that include humans listening to a speaker, and then typing what is heard. This was confirmed in a few talks where the speaker (and/or audience) asked questions of the person providing the CART services and got a reply from the person providing the CART services.

Public notice on this from Dark Tangent : https://www.defcon.org/html/defcon-2...l#dc21captions

Examples on twitter where evidence was provided by attendees that indicate a human was doing this work:

It is not a purely software-based solution.

The Transcription/CART services are paid for by DEF CON with fees from badge sales.

There is a separate service from this provided by volunteers "DEAF CON" which has nothing to do with the Transcription/CART services.

The "DEAF CON" group provide in-person ASL as volunteers, accepting donations to travel to DEF CON and use donations to pay for flight, hotel and travel expenses to be at DEF CON.

    HTH,
