  • Music Preferences ???

hey I was just wondering the music preferences of peeps here on these forums.

I was also wondering if there are any songs, tracks, pieces you "can't go with out".

Plus i'm just looking for some new musak to download;)

the styles of music I like, is....

Most syles of rock, techno/trance, old school hip-hop, classical, and most celtic.

My fav. rock songs (to damn many to choose from, anything with nirvana, placebo, or mxpx is good)

fav techno/trance(any thing by Paul Oakenfold, ATB, Digital Empire, and theres alot more).

hip-hop...hhmm not sure, i guess beasty boys, house of pain

classical, I like anything by Vivaldi.

    right now:

Dance & Dense Denso - Molotov

I would stereotype them as Mexico City early (Illin') Beasty Boys, lotsa fun

200KM/h in the Wrong Lane - Tatu

Who doesn't like calculated pop music by Russian lesbian teens - hell they even figure prominently in a current New Yorker article

If it ain't metal it's wrong...and I don't men this BS they are trying to pass off as metal now (Limp Biizkit, Korn etc) I mean METAL. Bang your head against the stage like you never did before METAL.

        Metallica (Old)
        Vio-Lence
        Overkill
        Testament
        Slayer
        S.O.D.
        Nuclear Assault

        METAL.

        And Barry Manilow too.
        perl -e 'print pack(c5, (41*2), sqrt(7056), (unpack(c,H)-2), oct(115), 10)'

As long as it's loud and has a good beat, especially Fatboy Slim.

I just recently discovered Apocalyptica, they cover predominantly Metallica songs, but with Chello's. Yes Chello's. They also have a good version of 'Hall of the Mountain King' that sounds great in the car. Never thought I'd find Heavy Metal Classical Music
Never drink anything larger than your head!

heh, I agree with you on the Limp Bizkit, but you don't like KoRn? They've been my favorite band for quite some time...their older stuff from self-entitled you might like, its a lot heavier than their newer stuff.

If its metal you want, I'll add a few more to the list...

-Chimaira (This Present Darkness, Pass Out Of Existance).

-Coal Chamber (Self Entitled)...I don't like thier newer stuff...

-Dry Kill Logic (The Darker Side of Nonsense).

            -Sepultura

Chris, you may enjoy Pornomint as I listed it in my previous post. I am friends with the band, and they're becoming quite popular in my area. You can download/listen to their music here and if you like it, let me know.

Hard is good when coding and riding a fine caffine high on the edge of exhaustion. This shows my age but WTF:

              Black Flag
              Jody Foster's Army
              Corrosion of Conformity
              Poison 13
              Dead Kennedys
              Fugazi
Early '70s Sabbath (because I know all the words and drum and guitar solos)

Wardriving or any other driving, the last thing I need is to be excitable while driving 3500 lbs of metal.

              Kruder and Dorfmeister Sessions
              Paul Oakenfold
              Morcheeba
              Simple 7
              Johnny Cash
              Stan Getz
              Frank Sinatra
              Faithless

and finally Cibo Mato because all that bad attitude combined with Engrish makes me giggle.
