Core War last year was definitely a success, and I'd love to run it again and hopefully get more submissions! If you're interested in helping out or competing and have ideas for how to make the contest better, please comment below!
Here's my current plan: Print about a thousand more information sheets and make a much better orchestration software, as well as running the contest from 12 PM to 6 PM on Saturday.
I'm also thinking of making some other assembly language based challenges; for instance, I could provide a user interface to upload NASM source and assemble/run that code (in a sandbox :) ) on my server. The challenge would be to make the fastest or fewest lines of code.
Please comment with questions/suggestions?
