I wanna mod the case of my tower but i need some ideas anyone know some sites that show peoples modded cases?

Maximum PC always has a bunch of case mods and stuff. I loved what this one guy did with a sucky case and some bondo. He had like a skull sticking out of it with the mouth open. In the mouth was a fan and he had a light in there so the eyes and mouth had light shooting out of them when it was dark. It was rad. You could always buy a pre-modded case. Those tend to be popular nowadays. Case modding kinda went outta style when they started being pre-moded cause you do tons of work for something that you could buy for a dollar.

that site has cool case reveiws and runs around in th emodding area. or if you would just goto google and do a search on pc case mods you will get more good results than you would know what to do with.

if you end up buying a case that has the clear acrilic side pannels, go all out. everyone has neon, you need neon, billet tribal carvings, and a watercooled processor. because processors just look cooler when they're water cooled....

That sounds sweet! My case is just regular metal pice of junk. I am thinking of just putting acrillic sides on because the sides now just slide off and can be replaced easily. Anyone know where I could get a neon light? I cant seem to find any.

trivia question... anyone know why the cases are made out of metal? (hint: the answer may have to do with the FCC)

well if its due to heat dissipation its a lost cause, this has been proven. the recent jump in air flow in our cases has risen enough to cause even aluminum cases to not help dissipate much heat. i have no clue truthfully what other reason cases would be made of metal. support? cdroms use very harmful lazers that could be an issue.

oh and kelvin water cooling isnt a case mod. i hope it doesnt turn into a fad either. it is an overclockers tool to further extend the reach of his system. at some point each overclocker does something to help his overclock go even further, no one just does it a lil, they always come back for more. oh and wait till i get my new "tool" done. ill have to post some pics here, a phase change water chiller built into my desk to help releive the heat from the voltage being shot through my aroia core palimino 2000+!

if i had to guess, i would say because plastic doesnt provide any shielding.

Wow KeLviN can read. I still have a plastic case for my computer. My computer is only a 750mhz at the moment.:( I need to upgrade soon.
