  • Defusing a bomb in a robot hacking contest?

Hi, we are a team making personal robots. I am posting to see if anyone's interested in our contest idea.

Inspired by terrorists using DJI drones as bombers, we come up with an idea that we can hack a personal robot to disarm bombs. Isn't it cool that one day everyone has a robot at home and when facing with crisis we can hack one to deal with? Based on that, we want to host a contest welcoming all kinds of personal robots to the contest and compete for the ultimate goal of cutting off a bomb's wire. (of course a fake bomb)

The plan is to do the field construction by 3D printing a path with multiple levels of difficulty on the spot, and we will cover all cost required.

And, of course, if you don't have a robot, we will provide you with our own robot HEXA (vincross.com/hexa). The robot itself has an operating system and SDK, things would become easier if you are capable of Golang and JavaScript. If the field condition allows and your speed is fast enough, maybe you can make out something special.

Is this something you would like to join?

Not sure how many people I speak for, but I certainly would like to try it.
