Driving from Lompoc, CA have rental car but no room

Looking to split gas on the way to Defcon, I have a rental car and am leaving Lompoc CA Wednesday night, and driving to Defcon then coming back either Sunday night or Monday Morning. Anyone along the way would be welcome to come along and to split some gas, and if you have a room I'd be very interested to split that with you.

Pretty much anyone on the way is fair game, looking to meet new people and just have fun.
