The Resurrection of DC 702

I'd like to skill up for contests by starting a local DC Group back up.

Like people born and raised in Las Vegas, DEFCON attendees that actually live in Las Vegas are rarer than imports. However, a few of us ran Toxic BBQ. We have a hackerspace in town that counts more than one DC goer among its executive committee. And a few people run an InfoSec podcast on Fridays from SynShop too.

I'll be spamming you if you've ever posted about it in the past, so discuss it here.

I'm interested meeting people from the local group. I recently moved to Vegas a couple months ago.

I didn't get to make the con, but I'm planning for next year.

Was thinking of starting to go to SynShop's Friday night podcast recordings and seeing if there is interest as well. Grey Noise does it every week.
