    DEF CON 27 Room and Ride Sharing

    Looking to save $$ by room or ride sharing? This is the place.

    Historically people would post if they had a ride to share or needed one, as well as if they were looking for room mates or had extra crash space.

    REMEMBER TO INCLUDE:
    • Dates and Times you are offering or needing
    • Locations you staying or picking up / dropping off at
    • If you are offering to pay gas or hotel mention what your budget is so there is less wasted time
    • If you are offering crash space include your terms (Same gender, no pets, etc)

      I am looking to split or chip in --- either for a place to stay in the main event hotel or an airbnb close by for Defcon 2019.

      Planning to arrive August 7th and leave either August Sunday 11 or Monday 12th.

      My limit is OBO $150-250 - I can bring my own sleeping bag / floor

          Room Space Available @ Bally's for DC27 (August 8, 9, 10, 11) Monday Checkout


          Its that time again! DEF CON 27 looks kinda lame... We are going anyway. :P

          My lovely wife and I are once again throwing caution to the wind, and sleeping with complete strangers at the con this year. 'Keep DEF CON potentially lethal' thats our motto!

          For the heavy sleeper, and the adventurous soul, room shares can give you a unique taste of "Dat Con Livin' " on a junior admins budget ;) .

          We are asking a mere $60USD per person, per night, to cover your stay. Bed space will naturally be *very* limited, so...yeah.


          Hand jive practitioners will get preferential selection.


          Most of us in the room will be long-time Defcon attendees (and perennial room sharers) so be prepared for it to get a little weird...


          Pre-payment required. Paypal or BTC only this time around. :)

                      Availability at one of the con hotels 8th-12th (Monday checkout). $60 per person per night. BTC or Monero if you want a spot reserved. Bed space is first come, first serve. PM me for more information.

                      If you need a space to stay earlier in the week and aren't having much luck I may also be able to help.

                          Hello everyone I'm Exist, I've been part of this community for a very long time. Throughout the years I've opened up my hotel stay to many people on the Defcon forum with many positive results.
                          This year I am looking for 1 to 2 additional roommates for both Defcon and Bsides. Your stay for both would cover from Monday August 5th through the following Monday of August 12th.

                          Defcon Convention Lodging
                          Hotel: Bally's Las Vegas Hotel & Casino
                          Dates: August 8th - 12th (4 nights)
                          Cost: $225 per person

                          Bsides Convention Lodging
                          Hotel: Tuscany Suites & Casino
                          Dates: August 5th - 8th (3 nights)
                          Cost: $100 per person

                          Your total stay for both is $325

                              I like to help out where I can, and in past years I've had luck with opening my room to some pretty exceptional people... If you need space to crash, I have space available throughout summer camp. I am checking in to NY/NY on the 2nd and out on the 8th then I move over to the Flamingo from the 8th checking out the 11th. Your contribution is on a sliding scale commensurate with need, length of time you are looking to crash, and story telling capability...

                                  You don't have to do both. You can do both or either one. So you can just choose DC space and it's only $225.

                                      I'm surprised the lack of people attending DC this year. Normally this board is pretty active but it's been a different story this year.

                                                          I have a room at the lync from Wednesday night (aug 7th checking out on Sunday (aug 11). My friend has a room as well so we’re just going to sell mine. If your interested DM me and we’ll get it transferred to you.
