Amateur Radio is for hacking the airwaves!

All it takes is a passing score on a 35 question exam to become one of many licensed "Hams" who get to build, modify, and tinker with radio equipment and the modes they use to communicate.

Now you can get your Ham Radio license (or upgrade your existing one) at DEF CON for free. There is no fee to sit for the exams at this session and most will get their new license and call sign electronically by the next business day.
