Fox Hunt Elmer

I am new to ham radio and would like to take part in the fox hunt while at DEFCON, but I do not have the equipment or skills to be successful. I was wondering if there was an "Elmer" out there who I could shadow to get a better idea of the tools and techniques for future hunts?

Just come by the contest table in the Ham Radio Village - I can show you what you need to get started with the absolute basics. Do you have a 2 way radio you can bring? If not, you can borrow one of mine (if you leave your ID or something so I know you're coming back lol)
