Data citizenship

I'm interested in individuals having more agency with their data. I see it as a kind of citizenship to deeply learn technologies and policies protecting data interests of individuals (as opposed to corporations) and share understanding with others. Interested in meeting people with similar interests. VPNs, publicizing nonconsensual data use, GDPR, CCPA, degoogling android, site specific browsers, firewalls, proxies, application analysis, anonymity vs accountability, privacy, etc. DM me on the forum or jeff6259 on telegram.

Forgive my ignorance, but could you elaborate on some of that? Maybe connect some context? I just joined and I'm new to a lot of this so I'm trying to get up to speed and develop some understanding.
