Now that so many variables have been answered like how large will we be, how many channels will we use in laying out the flow, etc. we are in a much better position to evaluate potential alternatives to Discord if we have to do DEF CON 29 Safe Mode.

One thing is how heavily we used bots to free up people to do other work. Whatever is considered needs robust bot support.
