Hopefully this is the right place to ask this, my employer wants me to submit a proper request for them to cover the cost of me attending the conference this year.
The thing is that CompTIA requires certian blocks to be checked before accepting any conference for CEU's. I'm sure i'm not the only one here who has had this issue before.
The CompTIA requirements are as follows:
Attend a Conference
You can earn 1 CEU for each hour you attend. Follow these requirements to earn and receive CEUs.
With all that, is there a "rough" description/outline of session content or the possibility to register using my name?
Thanks in advance for any assistance you can provide!

- Timing: You must attend the conference during your three-year renewal cycle.
- Relevance: At least 50 percent of the conference session content must relate to one or more of the exam objectives for the certification you’re renewing.
- Documentation: Submit the following documentation to receive CEUs for a conference session:
- Detailed description/outline of the session content
- Completion certificate or registration email containing the following:
- Your name
- Name of the conference session
- Date of the conference session
- Number of hours
