801 labs still closed?

Hey when I got to the 801 labs site it says they are closed for covid, is that still the case? If not where do I get info on events for the slc chapter?

Since the physical Hackerspace has been closed, we've moved all of our activity online to the 801Labs Discord server, where we have quite the community! We have both regularly scheduled events, as well as plenty of times that people hop into the voice channels just to see who else will show up.

The following loose schedule generally takes place from 6PM ~ 7PM Mountain Time, until people start heading out between 10PM ~ 1AM.

The First and Third Tuesdays of the month are Linux night.

The Second and Fourth Tuesdays of the month are Hardware night.

Every Thursday night is DC801 Hangout Night, where people just chill, and sometimes play games together.

We have multiple voice channels, so if several people just want to chill and play games, and someone hops on and needs help, some of us will switch to the classroom channel and focus on training while other people keep hanging out. Unless we have a specifically scheduled training that's been announced beforehand, the topic and direction of conversation can go pretty much anywhere, as long as people have questions they'd like answered, ideas they'd like to explore, or projects they'd like to share!
