It's my first time attending DEF CON. Pretty stoked to be honest. I know a schedule will be posted soon, but is there like different tracks for different people, such as if you are a newbie, attend ABC sessions/speakers, if you are looking for incident response, attend XYZ sessions/speakers, app sec ...?

In previous year, there have been tracks with introductory presentations for people new to a topic. It was often called "101 track"
With a much smaller conference, and an expectation for fewer speaking tracks, there is no guarantee for a 101 track with introductory content.
When the schedule is announced, if there is nothing like a 101 track, you can review the presentations in the regular tracks as well as any villages, and use the description and your own knowledge to estimate what presentations might be introductory and which expect some experience.
If this was a normal year, you might expect an early Thursday presentation for people new to DEF CON with suggestions on how to get the most of DEF CON. I do not know if the "DEF CON 101" will happen this year.

Hi!!
Protips: bring deodorant, a water bottle, a backpack (bag of some sort), cash from an ATM not near the Strip, snacks (the casinos are $), an external battery for your phone, shoe insoles + really comfortable shoes, business cards with your name on it if you want to make new pals, sunglasses, a willingness to step out of your comfort zone and make new friends and ask questions (yeah, that part is going to be especially weird this year). I'm sure there's more, but that's a start. Oh and bring Hacker Tracker (is a legit phone app -to help you schedule stuff.)
This is my 22nd (i think) time going.
