I have not yet been tasked to make a forum for the "Official DEF CON 30 CTF" but I can see it is likely coming soon. Once I am assigned the task, and I create a forum for it and move this thread into it, the BB code should parse properly. BBcode are (or should be) enabled in each forum for individual contests, villages and events, but not in the generic space outside of those dedicated forums.

Just found out I've gotten approval from work to go to DEFCON this morning and just seeing that there were CTF qualifiers recently. Is there anyway to get involved in the CTF even though quals has ended? Can new comers join a qualifying team? Other options?
