I am currently reading Les Misérables is a French historical novel by Victor Hugo. This is one of the largest and one of the most incredibly deep and interesting books I have read. I have read half of the book, but I am already convinced that it will become one of my favorite stories for my whole life. -
It's quite dated, technologically speaking, but a shoe-based microcomputer, 6502, with toe switches for input and a vibrator for output. They worked as a team with one inputting data and another placing bets. They got pretty good at predicting in which quadrant the ball would land. It's a good read, although dated and with lots of digression.Leave a comment:

With the book club dead maybe we can just talk about books we have read or plan to read.
My "aspirational" purchases are usually books I hope to have time to read, and looking back on recent purchases it has been:- We are Bellingcat: Global Crime, Online Sleuths, and the Bold Future of News
- Putin's People: How the KGB Took Back Russia and Then Took On the West
