Health measures when entering the USA and going to DEFCON

I am trying to get information regarding the current status of restricitve measures in place at the hotels where DEFCON occurs and in the USA in general.

As of July 20 2022:

- No vaccine requirement to enter the USA from Canada
- No requirement to be vaccinated to attend DEFCON


are there local rules in Las Vegas or Nevada, or maybe among the caesars group of companies that supercede the current situation at the border? What about airlines ?

for Masks:

- no requirement to be masked during the conference or in the casinos

for Canadians returning:
- 14-day quarantine if not vaccinated and Feds come to your house to check on you when returning to Canada

Am I getting it right?

I will do more research within the next days and report back to this thread if no additional information is posted.

The last I heard, there is currently no mask requirement in Clark County, Nevada, nor any requirement to wear a mask in CET casinos.

Defcon will require masks, and I assume enforcement will be at the choke points when entering the conference areas.

Some mask enforcement also took place within the conference area last year. Last year, when people were found not wearing their mask to cover their nose *and* mouth, they were informed of the problem and most corrected it. I recall discussion of consequences for repeat offenders that repeatedly "forgot" to keep their mask over their nose and mouth, but I was not there, and am not 100% certain what happened to those people.
