    Volunteering Question

    Greetings!

    I was wondering if HDA had any volunteering opportunities I could take part in as part of the con. I have a disability myself as I have ADHD, which does not impact my mobility in any ways.

    Also, to Delchi, thank you for doing this!

      First off, Thank you !! Thank you for wanting to help make DEF CON Awesomely Accessible!

      We have been looking into volunteer help , however that means planning, training and scheduling that we just don't have time for for this year. Next year we will be better prepared.

      HOWEVER - that being said, you can still do your part in helping by making sure that all people needing ADA help gets it. This can be as simple as holding a door for someone, offering to help with double doors , getting a Goon to help someone in need, or just being there if someone asks you for help.

      When the time comes for us to officially intake volunteers your name will be first on the list!
