This contest is run pre-con. The proposed contest will run from May 15, 2023 to June 15, 2023. Judging will run from June 16, 2023 to June 28, 2023. Winners will be announced June 29, 2023.
All entries are planned to be published on June 22, 2023 to allow for reading prior to announcement of winners.
What’s the point?
1. We were looking for a way to expand pre-con participation in the creative writing process and incorporate a little humor along the way. Writing is a skill that has gotten me further in my information security career than most of my skills, save perhaps my sense of humor. Combining the two can be very helpful in gaining confidence for your own skills.
2. Red-Teams can use the ideas generated from this contest to help with fashioning their exercises along with Security Awareness coordinators.
3. FUN!
