The U.S. Office of Management and Budget (OMB), an office that is part of the White House and home to the Federal government's CISO put out a memo yesterday from the OMB chief and the National Cyber Director highlighting the government's cybersecurity priorities in the 2025 budget.
The memo outlines 5 pillars which are named: 1) Defend Critical Infrastructure, 2) Disrupt and Dismantle Threat Actors, 3) Shape Market Forces to Drive Security and Resilience, 4) Invest in a Resilient Future, and 5) Forge International Partnerships to Pursue Shared Goals.
