Caesar's palace is not mentioned because there are no activities or events happening at Caesar's Palace. The events for DEF CON are happening at Caesar's Forum ( not to be confused with the Forum Shops ).

If you are staying in one of the hotels associated with DEF CON ( Linq, Harrah's, Flamingo ) the guide shows you how to get between the venues via the monorail and elevator / escalator walkways. Page 13 with the arrows is there to show alternate routes should an elevator / escalator break down. While it's rare that it happens, is does happen but usually they are fixed reasonably quickly.

If you are staying at Caesar's Palace, then talk to the concierge desk for options of transportation between the hotel and the venue. Page 8 shows a google maps view of the venues , and you can go to the google maps web site for more details and paths from other hotels.

I hope this helps, but if you have any more questions or concerns please let me know!

Thanks so much! Someone referred me here from reddit when I asked about the dreaded LINECON, haha. 💜

How do we qualify and then show we are part of HDA? Is there a badge, do we need to show a handicap card?

There is nothing to qualify for, unless you have a personal assistant. HDA exists to help make the con as a whole accessible. If you have a specific need or question you can ask me here or in a DM. You do not need a special badge or card to access the HDA community area. The goal of HDA is to make the overall con experience a good one.

That is the long standing phone number for the Caesars hotel and casino on the west side of the Strip.

The phone for the Caesars Forum Conference Center is 855-633-8238 but my hunch is that number goes to a contact center and not an on-site receptionist or anything like that.

It seems like getting a local live human on the phone for about any Las Vegas property is an exercise in futility anymore.
