Waiting for a response for a group application submitted in May

Greetings!

I submitted an application for my group back in May of this year, but never heard back. I followed up a few weeks later, and then again in July, but still have not heard anything. I went ahead and sent another email today for good measure, but I also wanted to post here to hopefully get some visibility and help things along.

Please let me know if there is anything I can do, or if there is someone in particular I can reach out to. I would appreciate it very much. Thanks!

Did you follow this process?
1) Visit https://forum.defcon.org/node/231250
2) Notice the link "Intake Form" : https://forum.defcon.org/html/dc/defcongroups-v4.html
3) Fill out the form online
4) After the form is filled out, see a completed form, which you then copy/paste to email to DCG coordinators

If so, and no response, check your spam/junk folder. Do you see any responses there?

If no responses in Inbox or spam/junk...

I am not part of the DEF CON Group Coordination, but I can relay a message to them. DM me the email address and group this was for, and I can ask the coordinators to look into it and either reply here, or email you at that address.

If you have concerns about trusting some random person on the DEF CON Forums with email and DCG number, you can take another route...

If you navigate to https://forum.defcon.org/ then scroll to the bottom of the page, there should be a link https://forum.defcon.org/contact-us with link text: "Contact Forum Account Support"
You can find that link and visit it, give details (email address, and the DCG this is about) and I can try to contact the organizers. That is only for forum account issues, not DCG, but I can get the results of that form, and use it when I contact DCG Coordinators, this one time as an exception.

They will need the email address used, and/or the DCG number to have a chance in finding the application. Mentioning you filed it in May of 2023 and then again in July will also help.
