Today CISA released its first roadmap for how it will use Artificial Intelligence internally. The document outlines five lines of effort and how they tie to other strategies within the the U.S. Government. More AI strategy documents-- the National Retail Federation released its principles for the use of AI in the retail sector. While not a government organization, its noteworthy to see trade groups releasing guide rails for how their members should use AI in the course of their business. Check out the principles on the NRF site. -
CISA, along with the UK's NCSC released another AI document today. According to a release the Guidelines for Secure AI System Development represents the work of 23 U.S. and U.K. agencies and "marks a significant step in addressing the intersection of artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, and critical infrastructure."
