B1/B2 VISA for Defcon August 2024

Hello, I have emailed Defcon according to the FAQ page to request a letter of invitation for US. I just wanted to ask a couple of questions for this process as this is my first time doing it:
    1) How long does it usually take for the letter of invitation to be provisioned?
    2) The VISA form requires an organisation contact details as a US contact. I have entered DEFCON but also requires street address, postcode, and phone number. Would it be possible to be provisioned these?

    Cheers x

I do not process requests for invitations for visa, but here are my observations on this process:
    1) Usually, people get a response within about 1 week. Sometimes the response is to request more data or confirm assumptions.
    2) This "1 week" for response estimate is sometimes complicated during holidays or when the people that process these requests are on vacation.
    3) Once you get a reply to your request, review the details and then if you see something that your VISA application requires is missing, reply to that email message to ask for more information to satisfy your governments requirements for a VISA letter of invitation.

In the USA, many people visit relatives and/or friends during various winter holidays in December. Additionally, some also visit people over December 31-January 1 for New Year's Eve and New Year's Day.
Because of all of these, if you do not get a reply by December 28 (more than a week, because of holidays) would you follow-up here with a notice that you have not received any replies?

Don't forget to also check your spam/junk mail folder for replies.

Do NOT post your details (like legal name, email address, etc) here in the public forum.
    Let's see what happens.

    Thanks!

I do not process VISA application invitation letters and work related to them. I do know that there are complications (which as far as I know) are unrelated to recent email requests, and these complications need to be resolved before email responses for these can go out. I was informed about these complications 2 days ago. Hopefully, I will be able to get you an update on these problems later today or Monday evening PST.

If you don't see any followup by Tuesday evening (USA, PST) please follow-up with a reply asking for another update.

          Sorry for the delay.

          Good luck!

Plans to address issues blocking processing VISA email have fallen-through, and is postponed to tomorrow.
(Today is a Holiday in the USA.)
I'll update here again tomorrow in the evening PST (Pacific Standard Time in the USA)

The issues with sending out invitations appears to be resolved. The person sending these out has sent at least one today.
              Check your inbox/spam/junk folder.
If you do not see the message, please reply to your original message and ask about it.
Did you use the same email account to send your request for invitation as you used to sign-up with the forums? If so, I can ask them about requests from that email address.
