I hope this message finds you well. I was wondering if you could help me out with my DEFCON Group application. It's been 20 days since I submitted it and I haven't heard back from anyone yet. I was wondering if you could check on the status of my application and let me know how things are progressing.

I asked, and they claimed there is problem in determining what your DEF CON Group number would be.

In many parts of the world, phone numbers are broken down to these elements

(number sequence for international calling) + (Country Code Number) + (Area Code or region or city code) + (Prefix) + (Number)

From the US, to place a phone call to India, we have India country code as 91

Then, it looks like maybe the city/area/region code for your location might be:

If so, maybe your DCG might be 9201232

You should have a discussion with the person that emailed you and offer a suggestion for what number would make sense for the location you want to have DCG meeting take place.

Great! Please include all of that in your email response to the person that is asking about it. Try to arrange for a DCG number for your location.

The person you are discussing this in email is the person that can help you with getting a DCG designation allocated.
