Event end time on the 11th?

I am trying to figure out my accommodation and plan the rest of my trip after Defcon and I wanted to know approximately what time defcon ends on the 11th. Will it be late at night or evening? The exact time from previous attendees would be appreciated.

I am trying to figure out my accommodation and plan the rest of my trip after Defcon and I wanted to know approximately what time defcon ends on the 11th. Will it be late at night or evening? The exact time from previous attendees would be appreciated.

Historically, DEF CON Sunday has a variable end date depend on what each person considers the "End of DEF CON" ...

Many contests villages and events close down on or before noon on Sunday.
Some Villages start cleaning up Saturday night.
Some of the last talks in the main speaker tracks finish on or before 12:00pm to 3:00pm.
When there have been 2 main speaking rooms separated by a temporary wall, there is often a down period for both rooms to remove the wall and make one large room for closing ceremonies.
Some people include closing ceremonies as part of DEF CON, while others do not. Closing ceremonies has taken from 1-3 hours. Lately, the time for these has been trimmed down to around 2 hours.
Though the end time for closing ceremonies is variable, that has historically been the end of *official* DEF CON content where the DEF CON badge gets you access.
Some people are super-busy working to pack up and load trucks with all the things people running villages, contests, and DEF CON spaces, which can take a long time.
Some groups have parties Sunday night, with plans to leave Monday morning.
Over the last few years, "DEF CON Trainings" (separate from workshops) have taken place on Monday, but those are 100% separate from content provided with a DEF CON badge. They are classes which require separate payment for those that want them. Some people might consider these to be part of DEF CON 32 or whatever DEF CON is happening.

Finally, there is a small group of people where other than a period of recovery, DEF CON planning, preparation, and organization is happening all year.

When DEF CON ends is something each person decides on their own.
