The west hall entrance is closer to the monorail station than the loop. It just depends on your ability to be outside for a bit. The sidewalk is dangerous to anyone, but there is a walkway that can be used. I'll show this in the maps.

There is a stuck thread for the announcement, and a copy of content to each forum calendar event, which is exported to the main site.
If you need things changed on that forum, please re-open the ToDo for that community forum, and specify what should be changed... this way an audit log is available to you and others to see what was requested and when changed were made. It also informs the different people of the changes required to try to get those changed included in all of the spaces expected.
You are welcome to create your own threads as needed.
