I would like to receive more details about the ticket cancellation process. I read about the fee and everything.
In case I want to cancel, I would like to know how easy is the cancellation process?
How lomg before the event can I do it?
Can it be done online?
Will I receive a refund instantly, or in a couple of days?
And any others important detaild about the cancellation process would be appreciated.

The forums does not have access to any ticket cancellation process, or access to any order requests or order processing or status.

DEF CON will always be a cash-at-the-door conference. We will always honor the LineCon. This is the way.

Preregistration guarantees you'll receive a DEF CON 32 Human badge (as opposed to a paper badge, if we run out) when redeeming your ticket in Las Vegas. Badges must be picked up onsite.

The fine print:

Pre-registration ends July 5th at 9pm pst.

Tickets are transferable.

NOTE: ANYONE MAY REDEEM THE TICKET.

The fee to cancel a ticket until July 15th 2024 is $34.00.

The fee to cancel after July 15th is $84.00.

MAKE SURE YOUR EMAIL ADDRESS IS CURRENT. We cannot change it after the ticket is emailed.
