Not really a job announcement, per se, but earlier this week the Office of Personnel Management for the U.S. Federal Government announced an extension of a previous direct hiring authority for investigative IT and AI-related job openings. This extension will make it easier for federal agencies to hire cybersecurity professionals through the extended deadline which now runs until the end of 2028.
