A couple of noteworthy threat reports have come out in the past week or two that a worth noting. First, on October 2, DHS released its annual Homeland Threat Assessment. While much of the document focused on threats to the physical world from terrorists and other violent extremists there is plenty of info in the report about information operations and critical infrastructure security.
Next, on October 9, OpenAI released a report on how its tools are being abused to try and interfere with the U.S. election and the steps it is taking to stop it.
