Ages ago, there were a few DEF CON related channels on EFNet irc, but I doubt they are very active with younger people tending to choose social chat which work better on mobile. (IRC historically relied on a connection to a server, and didn't work well with roaming to different mobile networks/hot-spots without disconnecting you from an IRC server, then re-connecting)

There is a DEF CON discord server, but it is not a help/support, "teach me to hack" server, but more of a place where a small percent of DEF CON people hang out. There are occasional technical discussions in the "#linecon" channel, but not usually in the form of people getting help with stuff, so much as a person explaining their hobby to others, if others are interested in the topic.

There is also a Mastodon instance https://defcon.social/ which has some users.

You have found the forums, but they are not very active.

Many people when they were young 25 years ago would have been using forum.defcon.org, but that is when it was harder to find hacking related social networking sites. Young people today find the proliferation of login/credentials for many social networking sites too much, and prefer to live with the generic: facebook, tiktok, reddit, stackexchange, etc. where they can find a space for each of their interests, all under one login at one site.

As for DEF CON Groups in Finland... if you do not know of any DEF CON Groups meetings in Finland, and you know a few people interested in hacking, you could form a group:

One of the most difficult things about running a DCG is getting a regular location to meet.
The next most difficult thing is to get content that will motivate people to attend meetings.

    Good luck!
