    DEF CON Group Changes Discussion

Looking for the best place to have a discussion about DC Groups and the future. Don't have discord access to the group threads and the subreddit conversation got locked. There is a /r/defcongroups subreddit but that doesn't look official.
Will there be a broader announcement on Mastodon, BSky, etc? Haven't seen anything there either. Looking forward to all the discussion and future of the groups.

The forums are available for discussions like these, but getting people to all agree to discuss this on the DEF CON forums might be difficult.

It is possible to express anger without violating CoC: direct anger at a policy, or position instead of the people.

With DCG Organizers or people that run DCG, the best choice to resolve disagreements is to engage in constructive criticism...
Not liking something is a great first step towards finding some kind of agreement, but to find a solutions, it is best to add constructive elements to your disagreement:
"I do not like this, and here is why (list.) Here is a better solutions (list) and why (list.)"

Then the other side of that argument explains what they like or don't like about the alternate, and also post examples of why, and then pose another counter.

It is important for each side to explain the reasons/motivations for the point of argument, so the other side can attempt to address those with thier counter-suggestion.

Through such a dialogue, each side describes reasons to support their ideas, and explain why other potential solutions have problems and where things can be made better.

Keep your DEF CON related discussions within the forum rules and DEF CON CoC rules, and the DC Forums can be a good public forum for discussions.

    Good luck!
