I submitted a story for the contest as well, but I don't see it listed. Pretty sure I followed all the rules, but maybe I missed something?

I'm just going to drop mine here in case anyone wants to read it. Feel silly having spent HOURS on it for no one to read it. Oh well, maybe next year, but I would like to know how I messed up to prevent it from recurring.

Rather than ascribe malice, you could have waited 3 minutes for the email reply.

The team is human and can sometimes miss things. In this case, we did not but you were very quick to assume that we had wronged you somehow.

In the future, practicing patience and assuming good intent would serve you well.
